Winter in Alberta

Winter in Alberta! 
We have had so much snow this weekend!  Eric was busy yesterday plowing snow in our yard!  He was out there for over 6 hours!

The Meteorologist on the News tonight stated that there has only been 3 times in the last 50 years where there has been so much snow from one storm.  The worst year was 1989! 

They say that if you don't like the weather in Alberta, wait 5 minutes, but that isn't working right now! 
It is supposed to by -40 by this weekend!

    Too bad this didn't happen New Years Day... people that shopped at the local jewelry store would have been thrilled. (they have a promotion in Nov. and Dec. where if it snows a certain amount on Jan. 1 you get your purchase for FREE!)

    I'm NOT looking forward to that COLD weather!
